- To be launched in September 2024
- Will be the third EV in MG’s portfolio
MG Motor India is all set to bring in a new all-electric vehicle in the form of the Cloud EV in India. The model will make its India debut in the second week of September, 2024. Ahead of its official launch, the model has been spied again doing tests run before going under production.
The Cloud EV for India will be a rebranded version of Wuling’s model with the same name. Design-wise, the Cloud EV will feature a connected LED DRL, split LED headlamps, blanked-off grille, and a front fender-mounted charging port. Moreover, the model will flaunt dual-tone alloy wheels, door-mounted ORVMs, flush-fitting door handles, and a panoramic sunroof.
Measuring 4.3 metres in length, the MG Cloud EV will likely be equipped with a 50.6kWh battery pack with an approximate driving range of 460km. We expect it to be offered in multiple variants across a variety of battery packs and range options.
Upon its arrival, the MG Cloud EV will compete against the BYD e6 at a similar price range. Notably, it will likely be the most expensive all-electric model from the automaker in the country.
