MG Motor India has revised the prices of its range including, the Comet EV, Astor, Hector, and the Hector Plus for June. Among the list, the Astor SUV has incurred a price hike of up to Rs. 38,000. With this, the Astor is now available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 9.98 lakh.
The MG Astor can be had in six variants, namely, Sprint, Shine, Select, Smart, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. As for the price revision, the Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro are the only variants with a price increment ranging from Rs. 31,800 to Rs. 38,000.
Mechanically, the Astor is powered by a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol motor. The transmission options include a five-speed manual, CVT, and a six-speed torque converter unit.
In other news, the complete design of the Astor facelift was leaked recently revealing key details. The new Astor facelift will receive significant updates in terms of exterior styling and features. As for the powertrain, MG is unlikely to make any changes to the engine and gearbox options of the upcoming facelift.
