The newly launched Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elite is the new range-topping variant that gets more premium features over the facelifted model that was globally introduced earlier this year. In addition to the existing colour options, the new model is available in three new colour options – steel blue, selenite grey and graphite grey. The V-Class Elite variant is only available in long-wheelbase six-seat option.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elite gets the new 2.0-litre BS-VI compliant diesel engine that produces 161bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to the 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic gearbox that enables the car to sprint from 0-100kmph in 11-seconds. In terms of safety, this variant gets attention assist, 360-degree camera with active park assist, six airbags, and the company Pre-Safe package.
In terms of design, it gets tweaked headlamps, sporty-bumpers with a wide and prominent mesh grille. The vehicle gets 17-inch alloy wheels as standard while 18-inch alloy wheels are optional. The suspension system has been updated with new agility control alongside selective damping system. As for the interior the vehicle gets silk beige or black upholstery, electric sliding doors, ambient lighting and accessories package. The V-Class Elite boasts of turbine-styled AC vents and a larger display for the infotainment system. The second row seats are power adjustable and can be reclined up to 49-degrees. Additionally, the seats also get ventilation and massage function.
