Post much wait, Mercedes-Benz will launch the S-Class facelift in India tomorrow. The current generation S-Class which was introduced in 2014, has been a popular selling product for the German car manufacturer. The new model will get fresh set of cosmetic upgrades and new engine options.
In terms of upgrades, the new S-Class will get new headlamps, tail lamps and bumpers. The revised set of creases and curves along with a set of new alloys and redesigned taillights give it a fresh appeal. As for the interior, it gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, premium upholstery and wood insert options and ambient lighting options. The new S-Class also gets new seats with fragrance function and heated and massaging options.
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be powered by a range of new inline six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines along with a range topping twin-turbo V8. The new in-line, six-cylinder diesel generates about 282bhp of power and 600Nm of peak torque. The new engine comes as a replacement to the 3.0-litre, V6, diesel which powered the S 350d.
