Mercedes-Benz recently inaugurated a showroom and a workshop in Nagpur. The new facility has been named Central Star and will be operated under the leadership of Garnet Motors Pvt. Ltd.
The carmaker has made an investment of Rs 8.15 crores towards the inception of these two facilities. To ensure personalised service consultation, 50 professionally trained staff have been appointed. The biggest outlet is the service station that spreads across an enormous 45,000 sq. ft. area. It gets 10 service bays and is capable of servicing 2,400 cars annually. This workshop is well-appointed with equipment required for preventive maintenance and general repair, along with accidental repairs as well. Apart from a customer lounge, there's an accessories display and a driver’s lounge as well.
On the other hand, the showroom spreads across 6,000 sq. ft. and boasts of a nine car display. This space is equipped with a customer lounge and a dedicated six screen interactive video wall to engage with prospective buyers with digital signage. Then, there's also a dedicated merchandise and accessories section along with Café Mercedes.
Mercedes-Benz is celebrating its 25th anniversary in India and continues to expand its dealer network. The carmaker now has 33 outlets for sales and services in the western region alone. The overall count has increased to 96 such facilities across 47 cities in India, making it the densest network of any luxury carmaker in India.
