The performance division of Mercedes-Benz has finally introduced its fourth AMG product in the country, the S 63 Coupe. Priced at Rs 2.55 crore, the S 63 Coupe gets a host of feature and mechanical upgrades. Here below are a set of fresh highlights on the S63 Coupe –
The Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe features a Panamericana radiator grille with redesigned bumpers and larger air intakes. The fresh face add a sporty appeal to the coupe. The new three-dimensional front splitter has been designed to reduce the uplift on the front axle.
The rear section gets OLED taillights which emits light in a sequence when turning or braking. The vehicle also gets diffuser inserts and model-specific twin tailpipes of the AMG exhaust system.
The coupe gets 3D inlays side skirts with carbon-fibre inserts. The sloping roofline gives it a sporty stance.
The S 63 Coupe offers a decent boot space of around 400-litres.
The latest AMG from Mercedes-Benz sits on large 10-spoke 20-inch forged light alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the S 63 Coupe is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that generates 612bhp of power and 900Nm of peak torque. Mated to AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission, the vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100 in just about 3.5 seconds.
It gets Nappa leather upholstery, AMG badges on the seat backrests and yellow accents. The car will feature a three-spoke performance steering wheel with perforated leather and paddle shifters.
