Interestingly, 'S-GT 585' is the registration plate of the Mercedes-AMG GT R press car in Europe. Images of the machine are widely spread over the web and have been published in countless magazines. So far so normal, but now the very car has been photographed at the Nurburgring race track wearing a modified front.
These two things combined – the known car plus the facelift – lead us to believe, this must be the refreshed GT R, the only model that was excluded from the GT range’s makeover last year. Unfortunately, the facelift seems like its limited to a revised grille and front skirt and will not incorporate engine tweaks.
