The new Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe, which was globally introduced in 2018, has finally arrived in India for a price of Rs 75 lakhs (ex-showroom, all-India). Based on the C-Class, the newly launched AMG C43 is more performance driven and is offered with sporty aesthetics. Interestingly, this is the first time that the AMG C43 has arrived in India in a two-door Coupe body style.
The C43 AMG coupe will come with distinctive AMG-specific detailing in the form of black exterior mirror housing, sportier air intakes and quad-exhaust pipes. Additionally, the coupe will get silver-painted brake calipers with AMG lettering as standard. Furthermore, it gets AMG radiator grille with distinctive twin louvre in matt iridium silver that extends to the front apron.
The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine produces an impressive 383bhp of power and 520Nm of torque. The Mercedes-Benz nine-speed automatic transmission will power all four wheels. The company claims that the newly launched coupe sprints from 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds and is electronically restricted to a top speed of 250kmph. The Coupe will also get the AMG ride control suspension setup which automatically adjusts the damping according to the driving modes.
As for the interior, the vehicle gets Artico leather seats or Dinamica microfiber in black with red stitching on the seats, door panels and the dashboard. The AMG performance steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather with touch control buttons and heads up display. Furthermore, the 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster offers three display styles – Classic, Sport and SuperSport.
