Mercedes Benz will bring its Aesthetic-S sculpture to the Paris Motor Show to provide a glimpse of design for future luxury saloons. The sculpture is basically the design philosophy behind the 2013 S-Class and will be on display in Hall 1 of the Paris Motor Show.
Gordon Wagener, head of design Mercedes Benz said, "The sculpture highlights the artistic aspects of design. With the design and proportions of "Aesthetics S", we are communicating a modern sense of status, sensual shapes and stylish sportiness."
"The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has always impressed with its timeless design, which has existed for decades and has always pointed the way ahead. The sculpture is a continuation of this, and sets the scene for the development of a new S-Class," Wagener added.
The debut of the relief like sculpture will be aided by a light projection display which will take place in three acts using modern means of design and implementation. To further cement the pedigree of the S-class, four iconic S-Class models from various periods – W189, W108, W126 and W221 will be incorporated into the projection event at the motor show.
