A source brings us comprehensive pictures of the S-Class Pullman inside out. The S-Class Pullman has been spied on multiple occasions, but this is the first time we get a peek at the interior.
The Pullman caught on test seems to be an armoured version as the door panels had steel plating and ballistic absorbing material. The 2+2+2 seating wasn’t to be seen, but it seems like legroom is aplenty for rear-seat passengers.
The 6.4-metre long luxury limousine with six doors is expected to make its debut in 2016. While the prototype didn’t have the rumoured six-seat setup the final car might come out with seating for six.
It might be powered by a 6.0-litre twin turbo, V12 engine producing 523bhp and 830Nm of torque. The source that spotted the test mule claims that it was travelling at 230kmph on the highway. These are early days to predict the pricing but according to rumours the 5.3-tonne armoured version is expected to cost approximately 1 million USD (Rs 6.14 crore).
The S-Class Pullman may not be introduced in India, as Mercedes might introduce the Maybach this year. If the Maybach comes in then the Pullman would be pointless, unless they target bureaucrats with the armoured version.
