If just viewing spy shots from test mules plying on the roads weren't enough, a source has now given us pictures of the Mercedes Maybach S600 Pullman from the venue of the Geneva Motor Show. It is reported that the car was clicked while being maneuvered into the Mercedes stand.
The 6.4-metre long luxury limousine gets six doors and boasts of seating for six, and is believed to set new standards in luxury.
The source of power is a 6.0-litre twin turbo, V12 engine producing 523bhp and 830Nm of torque. These are early days to predict the pricing but according to rumours the 5.3-tonne armoured version is expected to cost approximately 1 million USD (Rs 6.14 crore).
A vehicle like the S-Class Pullman might be deemed pointless in India with the situation of our roads and traffic. But, it shouldn’t be a problem for the super rich and policy makers if they opt for it. As for Mercedes India, we don’t think they will bring it here, they might solicit orders from people who want one, but we cannot confirm that either.
