Mercedes-Benz has launched the C Class AMG Performance Edition for Rs 34.62 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai. What this version does is infuse the visual aggression of the AMG Mercs while remaining a relatively practical car mechanically.
The AMG upgrade for the C Class offers a new instrument cluster that comprises of three analog dials and a 4.5-inch TFT colour display. The gearshift is now an aluminium-brushed one with a leather sleeve, brushed stainless steel pedals and black fabric headlining. The floor mats, too, are black and have AMG branding on them. On the outside, the C sports 17-inch five (split) spoke AMG alloy wheels with ventilated front disc brakes and sports suspension.
Mercedes has also announced that it will launch the B Class by the end of this year, and the A Class hatchback sometime next year.
