Mercedes-Benz in Malaysia is now offering the GLC250 Exclusive Line variant at RM 325,888 (Rs 54.40 lakh). This car undercuts the earlier GLC250 AMG Line by RM 3,000 (Rs 50,000) and the GLC250 Edition 1 by RM 35,000 (Rs 5.84 lakh).
For now, the Exclusive Line will be the only variant available to buyers. This version sports a less sporty stance vis-à-vis the AMG Line variant that came with an aggressive body kit. It loses the perforated discs seen on the AMG Line in favour of traditional ventilated discs. Powering the car is the same 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that makes 211bhp and 350Nm of torque. A 9G-Tronic transmission is coupled to the motor and the 0-100kmph run is despatched in 7.3sec.
The Exclusive Line gets an LED intelligent light system, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, start-stop function, active parking assist and surround camera. On the inside, equipment levels mirror the AMG Line version and buyers will continue to get the Burmester surround sound system, leather upholstery on the dashboard and three-zone climate control to name a few. Mercedes is all set to launch the GLC in India in the latter half of 2016.
