Mercedes Benz in partnership with Auto Hangar has opened the largest-ever workshop by a luxury car maker in India at Andheri east in Mumbai. The facility, which is spread over 100,000 sqft, was inaugurated by Peter Honegg, managing director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Mohan Mariwala, managing director, Auto Hangar.
Keeping in line with the Mercedes Benz philosophy of ‘Best or Nothing’, the workshop which employs over 155 trained personnel has 54 bays capable of servicing 60 cars a day. It has been fitted with all the latest equipment that is used by Mercedes Benz in its workshops acround the world.
Speaking at the inauguration, Honegg said that their aim was to provide their customers with high-quality service which in turn would give them an unforgettable ownership experience. Owing to the large capacity of the workshop, the facility will cater to the servicing needs of Mumbai and nearby cities, said Mohan Mariwala.
