Mercedes-Benz India formally inaugurated its new state-of-the-art luxury dealership – Joshi Autozone Pvt. Ltd - in Jalandhar. Set up with an initial investment of Rs 2 crore, Joshi Autozone embodies all the brand attributes of Mercedes-Benz with its top-notch facilities like a magnificent showroom, quality sales and service facilities and also offers Mercedes-Benz collectibles. Spread over a sprawling area of 20,000 sq. ft., Joshi Autozone has a team of forty trained and dedicated personnel. The facility also has a workshop equipped with five mechanical bays.
Marking it as the cause of dual celebration was the launch of the new E-Class for the Northern region in the same showroom. The new E-Class is widely hailed as one of the world’s best business saloons.
Mercedes-Benz India has indicated an investment of Rs 150 crore in network expansion and upgradation in 2009–2010 along with its network partners. The company has an extensive network with presence across 26 cities represented by more than 45 touch points across India with (dealerships- 11, showrooms- 15, show windows- 3, authorised service centers - 10, workshops- 18, authorised service station- 1) which is the largest compared to any luxury player in India.
