- New headlamp and tail-lamp design
- New bumpers and tweaked interior
Mercedes-Benz had launched the stylish version of their mid-size luxury SUV, the GLC Coupe, in its performance avatar in India exactly a year ago. Now, the GLC 43 AAMG Coupe is due for its mid-life update globally and since it is a CBU, the new car should be available in India right away.
The update will be introduced with the MY2019 cars which will go into production by the end of this year. Since it is a refresh, the body-shell remains the same. But you will get new all-LED headlamps with a new layout for the DRLs, reworked bumpers both fore and aft and a few tweaks to the LED signature of the tail-lamps as well.
On the inside, the changes will be limited to the infotainment system and the cabin will get its share of subtle tweaks. Under the hood, it will retain the current set of power trains which include the new 2.0-litre four-cylinder mills for the global markets while the India-model, the 43 AMG, will get the revised 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, thus developing a little more power.
