The Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class facelift has been spotted testing in Germany with minimal camouflage. The GLA was launched in India in September 2014 after its global launch in early 2014.
Mercedes has already updated the A-Class globally while the CLA facelift is already on the cards with test mules being spotted quite often. Based on the same MFA platform, the GLA will get new LED headlamps, tail lamps and a remodelled front bumper.
On the inside, the Mercedes may get the updated 8-inch display screen for its in-car infotainment system – COMAND. The GLA 45 AMG has already got its dose of updates under the hood bumping the power figures up to 376bhp. In India, the GLA is available with the standard 2.0-litre petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engines and also in the GLA 45 AMG avatar.
If Mercedes sticks to its trend of updating their cars every three years, the GLA facelift should be expected in 2017. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class that was launched in India in May 2013 is confirmed to get a facelift next month. So, for the limited number of changes to be done under this facelift, the GLA update can be expected by the end of next year or beginning of 2017.
