A vaguely camouflaged prototype of the C-Class coupe has been spotted in the wild. It doesn’t really come as a surprise as Mercedes announced this new model a while ago and is expected to launch it in certain global markets later this year, as a 2016 model.
This new model will be called the C-Class Coupe and following it will be the C-Class Convertible which should arrive around the same time. Sporting a wider track and a lower ride height than the C-Class sedan, the coupe model is expected to borrow the same set of powertrain options as the sedan.
The C-Class coupe will come with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive as standard. And before you ask, there will be a hot AMG version for it as well.
