The Mercedes-Benz A-Class made its global premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. After showcasing the concept version of the A-Class at the previous motor shows, this is finally the production-ready version of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
Mercedes-Benz India plans to introduce this model in India, maybe in 2013 or even sometime later. The A-class will come into India as a knocked-down version and will be the entry-level car for Mercedes-Benz in India.
The engine options for India are still to be finalized and it is likely to come in with both petrol and diesel engine options. Internationally, the engine will come mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, and we could see the same transmission, come into India as well.
