Mercedes-Benz will conduct a special preview the new C-Class at CeBIT India 2014, a Business IT event that will take place in Bengaluru, from November 12 to November 14.
The company, in a release, has indicated that the aim of previewing the C-Class, ahead of its November 25 India launch, is to showcase its new generation Infotainment System “Audio 20 Version 5.1” with a completely new ergonomic interface featuring a touch pad.
Commenting on the imminent preview, Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “The new C-Class sets a new benchmark with its technological and design advancement. We thought CeBIT is the right platform to showcase the technological prowess of the new C-Class as well as a prime example of how the latest generation telematics and IT systems are well integrated in Mercedes-Benz cars.”
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be launched in the Indian market on November 25. It will be first brought here in the petrol engine variant which is the C200 CGI. This is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 184bhp and 300Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7GTronic gearbox.
