Mercedes-Benz India had announced at the launch of 2017 CLA that they will launch the AMG C43 4MATIC on December 14. This will be the 13th product launch this year and the third AMG vehicle after the AMG GLE 43 Coupe and the AMG SLC 43.
Power to the new Mercedes-AMG C43 coupe comes from the same 3.0 litre bi-turbo V6 mill powering the C450 AMG and SLC43 AMG. This powerplant churns out 367bhp of max power at 5,500-6,000rpm and a peak torque of 520Nm at 2,000-4,000 rpm. It comes mated to a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission delivering power to all the wheels through the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
The C43 AMG will boast of the distinctive AMG styling, a diamond radiator grille, 18-inch AMG alloy wheels, ventilated disc brakes and much more. The car will also feature the AMG instrument cluster with chequered flag design, AMG RIDE CONTROL, AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with five drive modes, three-stage ESP, Eco Start-stop etc. amongst others.
The launch of the Mercedes-AMG C43 will expand the carmaker's C-Class portfolio in India. The new car is expected to be priced at around Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Stay tuned for all updates from the launch at the Buddh International Circuit tomorrow.
