A facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG facelift has been spotted testing in Germany. Changes to the automaker’s flagship roadster are both cosmetic as well as under the hood.
Exterior changes include a new AMG-GT esque-fasica which now comprise a new bumper, grille and hood. The side profile remains the same as the current car while the rear is expected to get thinner LED tail lamps, a new bumper and chrome exhaust tips.
Under the hood, this facelifted SL will continue with a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 564bhp and 900Nm of torque giving it a 0-100kmph time of 4.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. Our sources also indicate that there will be an AMG Sport version of the SL which be shown sometime next year.
