The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has been spied testing in Europe. These images have surfaced just a few days after the 2014 S-Class was unveiled at a function in Germany. The Coupe is a part of the new S-Class range that will comprise around seven vehicles of various body styles including the top-of-the-line Pullman limousine and high security S-Guard variant.
The pictures show us that Mercedes-Benz has adapted a similar design for the Coupe but with sportier overtones and better aerodynamics to improve the cars handling and performance. It sports a much lower roofline that sharply rakes at the back. From the pictures, we can see that there is a spoiler on the rear boot lid. Unlike the SLK and SL and the incredible SLS models, this one is expected to be a two-door four seater.
The S-Class Coupe is expected to share its interiors and features with sedan but in terms of engines, we expect that it will only get the top of the line V8 and V12 mills of which the latter will be an AMG spec unit that is expected to produces around 631PS of power. The car will most likely be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and is expected to go on sale in the beginning of next year.
