Mercedes-Benz India is on a roll not only in terms of new products, but new dealerships too. The carmaker recently inaugurated three new dealerships in three different locations in South India. Here are the details.Â
Kerala
A new 3S luxury car dealership named Bridgeway Motors was opened in Thrissur, Kerala. This state-of-the-art workshop is strategically located in the automobile hub to provide easy access and convenience to customers not only from Thrissur, but also from neighboring cities. This includes Chalakkudi, Gurvayoor, Irinjalakuda and Palakkad. It is spread across 16,000 sq.ft. and boasts of eight bays dedicated for maintenance and repair. It was built in a span of five months and 37 professionals have been employed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Bengaluru
Mercedes-Benz India wanted to strengthen its presence in strategic tier II and III markets. With this aim in mind, the carmaker also inaugurated a state-of-the-art service centre in Hoodi, Bengaluru. Called Sundaram Motors, the new facility is spread across a massive 80,000 sq. ft. area to service the entire range of Mercedes-Benz cars. There are seven bays dedicated for maintenance and repair and is equipped to service up to 2,500 cars a year. This one was built in seven months and there are 27 employees who are professionally trained to provide the brand's premium ownership experience. This outlet will soon get a 'Premier Express Service' too, which will have Wi-Fi enabled customer lounges and a coffee shop as well.
Tamil Nadu
The automaker also inaugurated a luxury car workshop in Salem, located in Konerikarai, again by Sundaram Motors. This one is a relatively smaller facility spread across 15,000 sq. ft. and built in seven months. The workshop has five bays and 13 professionally trained individuals.
This takes the total number of Mercedes-Benz outlets in India to 90 across 44 cities. It is indeed the most comprehensive network presence among luxury carmakers in India. It shows the automaker's commitment to their customers and improving their after-sales reach and service in the country.
