Mercedes-Benz, a leading luxury carmaker in India has inaugurated the largest parts warehouse in the luxury car industry in Pune along with its largest retail training academy in South Asia called the ‘Mercedes-Benz Academy’. The new retail training centre can impart training to 225 participants at any given time.
The new parts warehouse is spread across 16,500 sq. metres and can accommodate up to 44,000 Stock Keeping Units. The warehouse features world class equipment which help with smooth operation. It also uses LED lights for energy saving and motion sensors for tracking movement. As for the new retail training centre, it has four large bays which can accommodate about two vehicles per bay and two small bays that can accommodate one vehicle per bay.
