Mercedes-Benz is all set to captivate customers in Mangalore. They have inaugurated a new workshop in the region to take care of their after-sales needs.
The new facility, Sundaram Motors, is located on Bangalore Highway, BC Road. It is spread across 27,237 sq.ft. and a total investment of Rs 5.5 crore has been spent on this workshop. It will be handled by Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.
The service area is capable of servicing 150 cars in a month with six service bays at its disposal at all times. The facility is also equipped with the brand's new ‘Digital Service Drive’, which incorporates the use of latest communication devices like tablets and even video calling. The carmaker's aim is to enhance the overall ownership experience by reducing the turnaround time and making processes fast and convenient.
This is Mercedes-Benz's sixth workshop that has been launched in India this year. Currently, the German-based luxury car manufacturer has 23 outlets in South India and 86 dealerships in 40 cities all over the country. This makes it the densest network for a luxury car brand in the Indian market.
