Mercedes-Benz might launch the C450 AMG Sport for the Indian market later this year. The German automaker has been on a roll this year after it managed to sell 6,659 units from January to June 2015. It has already launched six new models in India and is due for six more over the course of this year. The C450 AMG is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that produces 367bhp and 517Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed AT and 4MATIC AWD system. It sprints from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds and then goes on to hit an electronically limited top-speed of 250kmph.
On the styling front, it gets an AMG body kit, AMG spec wheels and interior trim but will otherwise look very similar to the standard C-Class. It is expected to slot in between the CLA45 AMG and the soon-to-be unveiled C63 AMG both in terms of price and line up.
