Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has previewed the A-Class on its official website and Facebook page, even as we get ready for the India launch on May 30. The premium hatchback was launched globally last year and has been a huge success for the German automaker. The car has been spotted undisguised at two separate locations in the country. Malaysia is expected to get most variants of the A-Class including the top of the line A250 with AMG kit.
The Malaysian spec A-Class is expected to be the same as the car that will be launched in India in terms of features and design. However, as we have said before, the engine line up being offered for them will be much larger and is expected to have more focus on the petrol cars. We have already driven the car and pretty much know most of the details about the vehicle.
The A-Class is a part of the German automaker’s new set of front wheels/ four wheels drive cars that are being aimed at a newer set of buyers. They are based on the MFA platform and include the CLA sedan, GLA crossover, B-Class tourer and obviously the A-Class hatchback.
