A test mule of the updated Mercedes M-Class has been spied testing in Stuttgart, Germany. Yesterday, we had reported about Mercedes working on an updated M-Class which might receive major cosmetic changes as a part of the mid-cycle program.
Apparently, the heavily camouflaged test mule doesn’t reveal much but a big change in the front fascia can be expected. This is an effort to get the looks in sync with current Mercedes family of vehicles. The rear might get some changes like a lower rear bumper to incorporate the dual exhausts and updated rear light clusters.
The interiors will be more premium and Merc’s new COMAND infotainment system. The updated car is expected to make use of the existing powertrains on offer with minor tweaks.
The facelifted M-Class could hit the market as early as 2015, and the SUV is expected to be unveiled later this year.
