If you thought Mercedes-Benz were done launching cars with ludicrous names (hint: the G63 AMG ‘Crazy Colour’ edition), think again. The brand has just introduced the G63 AMG Crazy Wild Limited Edition in China. Launched at 2.63 million yuan (Rs 2.7 crore), this Crazy Wild Limited Edition is available in either orange, red, lime green, yellow, or cherry red.
Besides a snazzy paint scheme, the G63 AMG Crazy Wild Limited Edition features the black treatment for a lot of bodywork including the roof, wing mirrors, exhaust pipe tips, bumpers and wheel arches. It also features matte black five-spoke alloy wheels.
Not that we are complaining, but the drivetrain remains the same with the twin-turbocharged 5.5 litre V8 dishing out 544bhp and 760Nm of torque.
Mercedes recently launched a similarly specced G63 AMG here in the Indian market. Labelled Crazy Colour Edition, the car comes with a price tag of Rs 2.17 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) and, true to its name, looks unlike any other premium SUV currently in the Indian market.
