Mercedes-Benz India will launch the special editions of the A-Class and the B-Class on June 24 in Mumbai. These special editions will be called ‘Edition 1’ and will get additional features and equipment.
The Edition 1 will be available only on the A 180 CDI and the B 180 CDI and will be offered only for a limited period. These editions will get panoramic sunroof, updated reverse camera, centre arm rest, electrically adjustable front passenger seat, glossy exterior mirror housing. In the cosmetic department, both the vehicles will get Edition 1 badging with black background. Both the cars will get new alloys and the B-Class will additionally get a rear seat entertainment system.
There will be no changes on the mechanical front. Both the cars will be powered by the same 107bhp 2.2-litre diesel mill. But one major change the German manufacturer will be giving these cars is the increase in ground clearance. This decision has been taken from many customers who complained about their cars bottoming out on the roads. The A-Class and the B-Class Edition 1 will be priced over the regular models and the deliveries are expected to begin this month end.
