Mercedes-Benz India is planning to launch the E 350 sedan in India soon. The company feels that there is a gap between the E 250 CDI and the E 63 AMG in the E-class range and getting the E 350 back might help them bridge the gap.
The German automaker used to sell the E 350 version before they launched the facelifted E-class last year. But due to weakening rupee and few economic factors, the demand dropped for this vehicle. Mercedes-Benz India gave the E-class sedan a mid-cycle refresh, but launched it with only four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Other than these engines, Mercedes-Benz offers twin-turbo V8 powered engine that churns out 557bhp and peak torque of 720Nm.
The E 350 is expected to hit the Indian market this festive season with ex-showroom price hovering around Rs 58 lakh.
