With 898,425 vehicles delivered to customers in the first six months of 2015, Mercedes-Benz recorded the highest half-year sales figures in the company’s history. Mercedes says its global sales success is due to the high demand for SUVs and the C-Class sedan and estate models.
In Europe, the brand set new sales records both for June and for the first half of the year. In the first six months of 2015, sales rose by 11.2 per cent to 392,528 units. As for its home market, strong growth was recorded in Germany, where sales increased to 26,800 units in June (+16.5 per cent).
