Many car manufacturers are doing something special to commemorate the 70th anniversary of India's Independence. Mercedes-Benz has also launched a special edition of the GLC to celebrate this event. This Celebration Edition also marks the successful run of the GLC crossover, since its Indian debut last year. Here are some pictures of the car for you to ogle at.
This Mercedes-Benz GLC 'Celebration Edition' will be sold in limited numbers only. It gets a bright new designo hyacinth red paint option to enhance the SUV’s appeal.Â
It's hard to find the cosmetic changes on the vehicle, apart from the black exterior mirror housing. That's the only noticeable change.
The other enhancements include a little chrome treatment to some exterior parts. This comprises of chrome strips near the fog lamp housing and a new chrome bar across the tail gate.
This special GLC Celebration Edition's interior is the same as the standard GLC. The only additions include a LED logo projector, sports pedals and a Garmin map pilot SD card.
Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India launched this GLC 'Celebration Edition'. It will be available across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships from today.
The diesel GLC 220d 'Celebration Edition' is priced at Rs 50.86 lakhs. Meanwhile, the petrol derivative GLC 300 costs Rs 51.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan India).
