Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the G65 AMG Final Edition. It’s the final performance model to roll out for this generation of the legendary SUV. The German automaker is expected to introduce a new generation next year for the SUV.
This special edition, aptly dubbed the G65 Final Edition, is the last to roll off the Affalterbach line and comprises cosmetic upgrades both on the inside and outside. It’s the standard G-Class AMG fare but now the vehicle has been painted in gloss black. The massive AMG spec 21-inch wheels have been painted in a special shade of brown and sit in front of the silver coloured AMG spec brake callipers.
Inside, you get all the luxuries associated with the Mercedes brand, but now with carbon fibre inserts and Nappa leather. It goes without saying, that you get climate control, infotainment with floating display and a whole load of airbags.
Powering this beast, of course, is a 6.0-litre V12 producing 630bhp and a mammoth 1000Nm of torque! Power goes to all the four wheels via a 7G-tronic speed shift transmission and 4MATIC AWD system. All this power gets you a 0-100kmph time of 5.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 230kmph, which is a lot when you look at the proportions of this car.
It’s been priced at 310,233 Euros or Rs 2.3 crores when you convert it, making this a legendary but a rather expensive swansong for this SUV.
