Mercedes-Benz will launch the C63 AMG S variant in India tomorrow. This is the performance-oriented version of the C-Class sedan and will directly rival the BMW M3.
The C63 AMG is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mill that churns out 503bhp of power, about 80bhp more than its direct competitor. This mill comes mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission; and is the same engine that powers the AMG GT S as well.
The C63 AMG car comes equipped with dynamic engine mounts and an AMG RIDE CONTROL sport suspension as standard. The car can sprint from 0-100kmph in four seconds and has an electronically limited speed of 250kmph.
The German luxury carmaker had first unveiled the C63 AMG at the 2014 Paris Motor Show where it created a lot of excitement. Tomorrow, it will be launched for the Indian market targeting the enthusiasts in our country. It is one of the 15 new car launches announced by Mercedes-Benz for 2015 and will come through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, priced between Rs 1.20 to Rs 1.50 crore.
