Mercedes-Benz is offering a new C-Class AMG Sport Edition in the UK. This model is expected to replace the AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus variants.
The outgoing C-Class forms the base of the AMG Sport Edition. This new trim is available as a sedan, coupe and wagon. The car boasts of an AMG body kit and stands tall on AMG alloy-wheels. The vehicle comes with tinted headlights and features a gloss black grille at the front. It is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension that reduces the ride height by 15mm.
The AMG Sport Edition is outfitted with Artico / Dinamica AMG Sport Plus seats that have grey contrast stitching. The rear seats can be split folded. Other highlights are the sport steering wheel and ‘dark brushed’ aluminum trim. Heated front seats, a rear-view camera, COMAND Online and a Lighting Package can be opted for as a Premium Package. Meanwhile, the Premium Plus Package can be chosen which includes all the equipment from the Premium package with an addition of a panoramic glass sunroof.
The car is on sale in the United Kingdom. The on-road prices for the AMG Sport Trim start from £30,170 (Rs 30.87lakh) for the sedan, £31,370 (Rs 32.1lakh) for the wagon and £32,455 (Rs 33.21lakh) for the coupe.
