Mercedes-Benz A-Class gets AMG body kit

The facelifted Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback is now being offered with an AMG body kit. It can only be fitted to the models in the AMG line and the A250 Sport and is currently available for sale only in Germany.

The body kit comprises a front splitter, side skirts, and rear apron with pseudo diffuser element. There are also some fake vertical intakes which can be fitted alongside the bumper and adds to the sportiness of the car. Finally there are also some sporty stripes which appear below the door handle line. The items have been priced in the range of 185 Euros (Rs 14,063) to 790 Euros (Rs 60,067).

The company in a press release has said that all parts have been made using thermoforming and have a glossy black finish as standard. They have also been designed for easy assembly and fitment and will later be available for the CLA and the possibly the C-Class cabriolet.

We expect that this body kit will make its way to the Indian market once it is available for sale in other European markets. It may possibly be offered as a separate variant when sold here.
