After the B-Class premium MPV, yet another product from Mercedes’ MFA platform is about to be refreshed. The model in question is the A-Class facelift which has been spotted on test, this time in an all-new green colour.
Like the facelifted B-Class, the new A-Class will get a revised exterior design and minor changes to the interior, especially in the equipment levels. Apart from these subtle changes there isn’t much to talk about at the moment. As for the power source, engine options will be carried over from the new B-Class, meaning an array of petrol and diesel engines displacing between 1.5-litre and 2-litre four-cylinder units will be seen powering the A-Class facelift.
The A-Class facelift is expected to go on sale later this year. The car will arrive in the Indian market soon after its global debut. Following a successful 2014, Mercedes-Benz India is vying for an even better 2015 with a new strategy called '15 for 15'. What this means is that the brand will introduce 15 new models in 2015. The new A-Class is expected to go on sale in India this year alongside a few more models including the AMG GT, the C63 AMG and the likes.
