Launched in 2012, the A-Class is still one of the most striking looking premium hatchbacks and yet it looks like Mercedes wants to make it even better with a facelifted version. The hatchback has just been spotted testing on the fearsome Nurburgring in Germany.
Like the new B-Class, the A-Class facelift will get a revised exterior design and minor changes to the interior, especially in the equipment department. Apart from these subtle changes there isn’t much to talk about at the moment.
Mechanically, the updated model is expected to draw power from the same set of engine options as the new B-Class. A range of petrol and diesel engines displacing between 1.5-litre and 2-liter four-cylinder units will be on offer.
The A-Class facelift is expected to go on sale later this year. The car will arrive in the Indian market soon after its global debut.
