Mercedes-Benz India has opened two AMG performance centres in South India recently. Rajasree Motors is the sixth and Transcar India is the seventh AMG performance centre in India.
The expansion of this network is in-line with Mercedes celebrating 50 years of AMG globally. The entire range of AMG cars will be on display at these centres. Select models will also be offered for a test drive. The facilities are designed according to the automaker's global standard and are equipped with interactive modules for enthusiasts. In addition, there's a boutique and an accessories area too.
There are more than 400 AMG performance centres in 40 countries across the globe. By inaugurating these new dealerships in South India, Mercedes-Benz has put Kochi and Chennai on Mercedes-AMG’s global footprint. The carmaker considers such AMG performance centres as the key pillar to the Mercedes-AMG growth strategy in India. They are opened to offer a unique experience to AMG customers and performance-driving enthusiasts.
