Mercedes-Benz has introduced the facelifted GLC 43 AMG Coupe in India, with prices starting at Rs. 1.1 crore (ex-showroom). It has been launched alongside the new CLE Cabriolet, which is also the first four-seat convertible for the Indian market.
At the heart of the new GLC 43 AMG Coupe facelift is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that replaces the outgoing 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor. The new offering develops 415bhp and 500Nm, enabling it to sprint from 0-100kmph in a mere 4.8 seconds. The top speed of this coupe SUV is electronically limited to 250kmph.
On the design front, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe features sweptback LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, the signature AMG grille with vertical slats, glossy black inserts all around, 21-inch double-spoke alloy wheels, sloping roofline, wrap-around LED taillights, ducktail spoiler, and quad-tip exhausts.
Inside, the model is bathed with carbon fibre and Alcantara all around. Notable elements include a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital coloured driver’s display, three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, sports seats, red seatbelts, and multiple AMG-specific inserts. We have driven the car and our review is live on the website.
