Mercedes-AMG has planned to cease the production of the iconic G-series of its SUVs. However, before we can say adios to the world’s most outlandish off-roader, there will be a last special edition variant of this SUV. Only 65 units of this G65 Final edition will be produced and sold worldwide. Delve into the details of this vehicle that will surely become a rare masterpiece to spot.

The AMG touches are evident with the AMG sport trim on the sides. The G65 Final Edition sports 12-inch five-twin spoke alloys, done in bronze with silver brake calipers.

The other highlights consist of the bronze and obsidian black coloured inserts. The exterior also sports a few matt black design elements on the running boards and the exhaust pipes.

The vehicle continues to boast of a solid off-road ability and can wade through 60cm deep water. The approach/departure angles are low as well at 27 degrees with a breakover angle of 22 degrees.

The cabin gets a designo exclusive package with carbon fibre bits and bronzed elements. The words 'Final Edition' are inscribed on the grab handles and the floor mats as well.

The powertrain remains unchanged with the same 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 621bhp and a massive torque of 1,000Nm. It comes mated to an AMG 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic transmission.
