Mercedes-Benz India has launched a special edition G-Wagen, the G63 AMG Edition 463 in India for a price tag of Rs 2.17 crore, ex-showroom Pune. The Edition 463 will be offered alongside the regular G63 AMG and the G63 AMG Crazy Colour Edition.
The Edition 463 gets unique 21-inch five twin-spoke alloys with a glossy rim flange and the AMG strip on the sides. It also comes with a chrome bumper guard and a stainless-steel underride guard along with grey inserts in the side moulds for a meaner look. Since this is a special edition, it comes with the brute muscular boxy styling of the G-Wagen.
Inside, the dashboard sports black design leather while the seats gets a mix of black or brown leather with black carbon leather. The highlight stitching is colour coordinated across the cabin and it gets the AMG carbon fibre trims as well. Under the hood, you have the potent 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 petrol engine pumping out 563bhp of power and 720Nm of torque mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. The four-wheel drive system is equipped with three electronic diff-locks, off-road reduction gear and the 4ETS traction control system to give it the off-road edge as well.
The G63 hits 100kmph from standstill in 5.4 seconds and is limited at a top-speed of 210kmph. The G63 Edition 463 can also be customised from the plethora of options offered by Mercedes’ design platform.
