McLaren has announced that it will showcase its next creation at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Called the 675LT, this new model revives the brand’s ‘Longtail’ name previously given to the iconic F1 GTR ‘Longtail’.
According to the British sportscar firm, the 675LT has been designed with focus on performance optimised aerodynamics, increased downforce and reduction in weight. When launched, it will join the core range of McLaren supercars alongside the existing 650S and the Asia-specific 625C.
Like in the 650S, the number 675 denotes the power developed by the 675LT’s engine in brake horsepower. McLaren has confirmed that it will be offered in coupe body style only when deliveries start later this year.
More details of the 675LT, including its performance figures will be announced in the weeks running up to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
