Official images of the all-new McLaren 650S have unexpectedly made their way into the web. Up until now, the British supercar maker had managed to keep the 650S well under wraps; however, in less than a week after releasing the first teaser image, details about the car have been leaked from a private presentation, showing the car in all its glory.
Set to be positioned between the 12C and the P1, the 650S is said to have been developed using know-how from both the former models.
The new 650S sources its power from McLaren’s familiar 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which produces 650bhp (hence the name 650S). The torque figure, too, is bumped up to 657Nm. Full details on the 650S will be announced in the run-up to the car’s global debut which will take place at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
