The facelifted model of the Maserati Ghibli has been spotted undergoing testing in Germany. The prototype seen here has cladding all over its front and rear bumpers. From what can be seen, the facelift will bring with it new headlights and a subtly updated front-end look.
As for the rear, the bumper will have a more prominent diffuser-style element between the dual exhaust tips. We expect the production car to feature different taillight graphics, but these weren’t fitted to the prototype.
The Ghibli’s engine options, too, will be revised. It currently gets a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 in 350 and 410bhp trims, and 250bhp and 275bhp versions of the 3-litre turbo diesel V6.
Maserati is expected to officially unveil the facelifted Ghibli sometime around the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
