The new Maserati Levante Trofeo will be launched in India by the end of 2019. India will be the first right-hand market to get the new Levante Trofeo with the V8 engine. Interestingly, the Trofeo is one of the most powerful and fastest of the Maserati cars. Like all Maserati petrol engines, this V8 is also produced by Ferrari in Maranello.
Under the hood, the Maserati Levante Trofeo is powered by a 3.8-litre Twin Turbo V8 engine that is mated to the Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system to produce 590bhp at 6,250rpm and 730Nm of peak torque between 2,250 – 5,000 rpm. The vehicle has a top speed of over 300kmph and it is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 3.9-seconds.
The Trofeo gets a restyled lower front fascia and rear bumper, providing a sportier yet sophisticated presence. The low splitter, side blades on the front air intakes, side skirt inserts and the rear extractor, which are made of ultralight, high-gloss carbon fibre, further underline this model's racing look. The hood is new, featuring two aggressive air intakes for better cylinder head cooling.
As for the interior, it gets a premium full grain ‘Pieno Fiore’ natural leather that comes in black, red and tan, all with contrast stitching and the ‘Trofeo’ logo stitched on the headrests. ‘Pieno Fiore’ is the best in the automotive industry for its natural, soft feel and for the unique character it develops throughout the years.
