-3.8-litre Ferrari built V8 motor
-550bhp/730Nm with AWD system
-0-100kmph in 4.2 seconds
- Styling cues picked up from Levante Super Trofeo
Maserati has unveiled the Levante V8 GTS at the 2018 Goodwood festival of speed. It’s a mid-level model that comes in between the internationally available S and range topping Super Trofeo model.
Compared to the standard model, this GTS gets the exterior styling updates from the Super Trofeo model for that extra (extra) hint of sportiness. The cabin remains unchanged but you do get the option of new leather trim packages, sport pedals and a 14 speaker Harman Kardon system.
Putting the wind in the Levante is a Maranello built Ferrari V8 producing 550bhp/730Nm. That’s less that the Super Trofeo model but it’s nothing to complain about as you get a 0-100kmph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 292kmph! There’s a rear-biased AWD system and ZF eight-speed AT as a part of the standard package.
We only get the diesel powered Levante in India and this model would be a nice way for Maserati to introduce the Indian market to the ability to go Ferrari powered fast almost anywhere.
