Maruti teases the Vitara Brezza; to debut at the Auto Expo

Maruti has officially released a teaser image of their upcoming compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, ahead of its unveil and possible launch at the Auto Expo 2016. This is the same YBA concept that has been spotted testing multiple times in the last few months.

The Vitara Brezza is a five-seater compact SUV and will compete with the Ford EcoSport and the TUV300 and will be positioned below the Maruti S-Cross. The Vitara Brezza looks SUV-like with a high bonnet and a straight roofline. The twin barrel wrap around headlamps get projector units which may be limited to the top-spec variants.

The Vitara Brezza will get the 1.2-litre VVT petrol engine and the 1.3-litre DDiS200 diesel engine, both mated to a five-speed transmission. The front wheel drive compact crossover gets a touch-screen infotainment system along with climate control and other run of the mill features standard with this segment.
